What Can You Expect From a Mid Facelift?

A Mid Facelift targets the area around the nose, eyes and corners of the mouth. The procedure involves making small incisions in the face, allowing fat and muscles to be tightened, repositioned upwards, horizontally or diagonally, giving the central part of the face a smoother, tighter appearance.

Before the procedure, you have to be physically and mentally prepared. You need to understand how the procedure works, as well as the risks and complications that go with it. As with all surgery, just like in Australia, there are a few temporary bumps and bruises associated with a mid facelift, though they're minor and short-lived. You'll experience some numbness, bruising and swelling around the affected area most of which should subside quickly.

There are, of course, risks of more serious side effects just like with any surgery. This is why it's so important to follow your surgeon's advice closely to make sure you minimize the risk as much as possible. For example, the surgeon will tell you to avoid strenuous activities (including sex) for about a week after the operation.
