Interested In A Mid Facelift?

Do you have problems with baggy eyes, flaring nostrils and hollow cheeks? As time, life and the Australian sun take their toll, it's common for problems like these to arise, but not everyone knows that there are ways to fix these issues. The good news is that modern medicine has a procedure that specifically targets these areas of your face - the Mid Facelift!

It costs you nothing to talk to us

What Can You Expect From a Mid Facelift?

The primary advantages of a Mid Facelift are:

  • It addresses a *specific* area of the face, causing less trauma than a Full Facelift
  • It has a shorter recovery period because of this
  • The results of the surgery are more permanent than injectables like BOTOX

A Mid Facelift targets the area around the nose, eyes and corners of the mouth. The procedure involves making small incisions in the face, allowing fat and muscles to be tightened, repositioned upwards, horizontally or diagonally, giving the central part of the face a smoother, tighter appearance.

Before the procedure, you have to be physically and mentally prepared. You need to understand how the procedure works, as well as the risks and complications that go with it. Of course part of that mental preparation is having realistic expectations about the operation and understanding your likely outcome, something we'll work with you and an experienced surgeon to ensure.

During your free online consultation (from your home in Australia), your surgeon will evaluate your expectations, your medical history and your body to determine what's best for you and what you can expect. As the surgery date in Thailand comes closer you'll need to stop or adjust the intake of certain medications and supplements. You'll also need to stop smoking and drinking alcohol for two weeks before and after the procedure. And on the day of the surgery you'll have to fast for about half a day ahead of time - no food or water.

During the procedure, you'll be under general anesthesia for the duration and once the procedure finishes you'll be required to stay overnight in the hospital to make sure everything's okay. As with all surgery, just like in Australia, there are a few temporary bumps and bruises associated with a mid facelift, though they're minor and short-lived. You'll experience some numbness, bruising and swelling around the affected area most of which should subside quickly.

There are, of course, risks of more serious side effects just like with any surgery. This is why it's so important to follow your surgeon's advice closely to make sure you minimize the risk as much as possible. For example, the surgeon will tell you to avoid strenuous activities (including sex) for about a week after the operation. He'll also prescribe any necessary medication and tell you that getting sufficient rest and maintaining a healthy diet will help you recover faster.

Key Procedure Detail

Key Procedure Detail

There's a lot to know about having this procedure done, but we've broken down the key details for all our Australian friends out there!

Prices Start at $3,035 AUD

Our partner hospitals offer this procedure starting at an actual cost of $3,035 AUD, but your personal situation along with the hospital you choose and the surgeon's recommendation will determine the final quoted price - but don't worry, we'll work with you on that :)

Spend 14 days in Thailand

You will need to plan to spend 14 days in Thailand to allow for proper recovery and a final checkup before returning to Australia.

And 2 Nights in Hospital

After surgery it takes a little while for your body to get back to normal and during that time, the surgeons and nurses need to keep an eye on you to make sure your recovery's getting off to a good start!

Initial Recovery: 14 Days

The surgeon will discuss the full recovery period with you, but you'll need to spend these days in Thailand for an initial recovery period just to make sure everything's going fine before you head back to Australia.

Under General Anesthesia

The procedure is performed under General Anesthesia, meaning that you'll be asleep for the duration and shouldn't experience any pain or discomfort.

What Does The Cost Cover?

The cost will cover everything related to your surgery itself, your care and the services needed to make sure you get the best results possible! That means that the cost covers your hospital stay, surgeon's consultation, the procedure itself, any medication, any follow-up checkup you might have, the meals you're served - and a free gift from us :) We always do our best to quote you the full price up front and we NEVER CHARGE A BOOKING FEE. We just want to make that clear, because many companies in Australia do!
