At Destination Beauty, not only will we help you understand the process better, we'll literally walk you through every phase of one of the most popular cosmetic medical procedures today. And, of course, we charge you nothing. We just want to make sure you have the best experience possible. Contact us today to get started!

Still, there's plenty we can explain up front. This non-surgical procedure involves injecting the BOTOX Cosmetic, a prescription medicine, directly into your facial muscles. This temporarily weakens the muscles that cause wrinkles and frown lines and helps soften your face and tone down these features. If you're between 18 and 65 then you're like most BOTOX users.

Amazingly, the entire procedure takes about ten minutes total and doesn't require anesthesia. You won't experience hardly any pain or discomfort either as the procedure's pretty brief. Wrinkles as well as severe and moderate frown lines will begin to smooth out within about three to seven days. Of course not everyone has the same results, but the effects can last up to four months after which a follow-up injection is recommended. The more treatments you have, the more the muscles thing and that makes the results of each treatment last even longer.

As simple as it all sounds, it's crucial for you to understand your role as a patient and the risks and complications that can occur with BOTOX® injections. This is why you need to make sure your consultation with your surgeon is open, honest and attentive. Make sure you tell the surgeon the truth about everything and that you listen to what he has to say, asking questions when you don't understand something.

Before getting BOTOX treatments, you need to tell your surgeon if you have any of the following:

  • Nerve or muscle disorders like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome
  • Allergies to any botolinum toxin product
  • Side effect from any botulinum toxin product in the past
  • Asthma, emphysema or other breathing problems
  • Swallowing problems
  • Bleeding problems
  • Skin infection at the planned injection site

You should also let your surgeon know if you're pregnant or planning to get pregnant. BOTOX can harm unborn children and passes into breast milk, so this is a serious consideration.

Additionally, you need to tell the surgeon about all prescription and non-prescription medicines you take along with any vitamins and herbal products you use. Mixing BOTOX with certain medicines can cause serious side effects, so be thorough and honest!

After the injection, you may feel some side-effects associated with the treatment. These may or may not include:

  • Headache
  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Nausea
  • Temporary eyelid droop
  • Facial pain
  • Redness at the injection site
  • Muscle weakness
  • Dry mouth
  • Neck pain

Eye problems such as double or blurred vision, drooping or swelling eyelids and eye twitching

Allergy to the medicine which may cause itching, rashes, asthma and dizziness

Every experience is different and we don't expect any serious complications, but the human body is complex and you need to know ahead of time what can happen. If you do have the treatments and experience any of these effects you should tell the surgeon immediately or, if you're already back home, your family doctor.

If all the details are starting to clutter your brain, don't worry - this is where Destination Beauty comes in handy. We'll be your personal concierge. We'll coordinate the virtual and real consultations with your doctor. We'll arrange your hospital stay and help out with travel. You don't even have to worry about hotel accommodations - we'll help with that, too.

All this help, all these answers - our entire service - is free. We charge you nothing and we handle none of your money. We're just here to be a resource for you, so get in touch with us and find out just how much help we can be!

Key Procedure Detail

Key Procedure Detail

There's a lot to know about having this procedure done, but we've broken down the key details for all our Australian friends out there!

Prices Start at $89 AUD

Our partner hospitals offer this procedure starting at an actual cost of $89 AUD, but your personal situation along with the hospital you choose and the surgeon's recommendation will determine the final quoted price - but don't worry, we'll work with you on that :)

Spend 10 days in Thailand

You will need to plan to spend 10 days in Thailand to allow for proper recovery and a final checkup before returning to Australia.

And No Nights in Hospital

BOTOX injections are given on an outpatient basis, so while the staff at the hospital will make sure that you're in good shape afterward, there's usually no reason to keep you at the hospital overnight and you'll be free to return to your vacation soon after you've finished - provided that you follow the advice of the doctors & staff, of course.

Initial Recovery: 14 Days

The surgeon will discuss the full recovery period with you, but you'll need to spend these days in Thailand for an initial recovery period just to make sure everything's going fine before you head back to Australia.

What Does The Cost Cover?

The cost will cover everything related to your surgery itself, your care and the services needed to make sure you get the best results possible! That means that the cost covers your hospital stay, surgeon's consultation, the procedure itself, any medication, any follow-up checkup you might have, the meals you're served - and a free gift from us :) We always do our best to quote you the full price up front and we NEVER CHARGE A BOOKING FEE. We just want to make that clear, because many companies in Australia do!
