Breast Lift Thailand

Learn About Breast Lifts

As we age and experience motherhood, our breasts begin to droop and show the effects of stretched skin, change in breast size and loss of tone and elasticity. You know this, you may even have experienced it - we don't have to tell you. There's a solution, though: Breast Lift surgery. A breast lift (or ‘mastopexy') lifts and firms the breasts and helps restore a more youthful appearance, giving you back a perkier, more youthful chest.

A Breast Lift can bring back the youthful and shapely appearance of your breasts without increasing your breast size. The procedure can be performed as a standalone breast surgery, or it can be done together with other cosmetic breast surgery procedures (like Breast Augmentation), so that you don't return to Australia with perkier breasts, but also a firmer and fuller chest.

Here at Destination Beauty, we'll help answer your questions and make sure you're informed about what all a Breast Lift entails. We'll walk you through a personal consultation with an experienced surgeon and help schedule your procedure. We'll even work with you once you arrive in Thailand, as the situation demands, to make sure that everything goes well with your procedure. And we do all this for free - find out more by inquiring now!

Are You A Candidate For A Breast Lift Procedure?

If you have sagging breasts, are in good health and you're not currently pregnant or nursing then you're probably a good candidate for a Breast Lift. You'll also need to be emotionally stable and have realistic expectations about the outcome of your cosmetic breast surgery to experience the best results.

Generally, those best results will be seen in women with small, sagging breasts, but Breast Lift surgery is also ideal for fixing the undesired changes caused by pregnancy. However, if you're planning to have more children then it may be best to wait until after childbirth and nursing so you don't accidentally diminish the results of your Mastopexy.

The Breast Lift Surgery Procedure Itself

Your Breast Lift will be done in Thailand as an inpatient procedure and you'll have to stay for 2 nights in the hospital. We've partnered with top hospitals in Thailand, like Yanhee Hospital and Bangkok Phuket Hospital, and we'll ensure that your stay is comfortable and safe throughout.

Breast Lift surgery is performed under anesthesia and takes around 1.5 to 3.5 hours. There are several techniques for performing a Breast Lift that vary by type of incision and during your consultation from Australia with our surgeon here in Thailand we'll make sure you get some idea of what to expect.

Risks and Complications of Breast Lift

Breast Lift surgery is a pretty common and very safe procedure. However, as with any type of cosmetic surgery, there are certain complications that may arise and your surgeon will make sure that you're aware of anything that may go wrong in your particular case. It'll be up to you to decide what to do with the information, but we'll make sure that you get as much honest appraisal as possible about your specific case before you every set foot outside of Perth, Sydney, Canberra or wherever you live!

Preparing for Your Breast Lift

You'll need to do a number of things ahead of your surgery. The surgeon will ask you to stop smoking, consuming alcohol and taking any medications and vitamins starting 2 weeks before (and after) the date of your Breast Lift operation. In addition, you should fast 8 hours before the breast surgery procedure which means you should not eat anything on the day of the surgery.

It is also important that you understand the procedure and potential risk and complications of breast lift surgery. Your surgeon will explain everything you need to know during consultation, and you can also ask questions you may have. This is an important step in ensuring your safety and getting the best results of the cosmetic surgery procedure. At Destination Beauty, not only do we provide all the information you need and address all your concerns, we also partner with the best certified plastic surgery specialists in Thailand who will ensure your comfort and well-being.

Recovering From Your Breast Surgery

After your breast lift surgery, your breasts will be bruised and swollen, and you may feel slightly uncomfortable for 1 to 2 days. However, any post-surgery pain can be managed with medication prescribed by your surgeon. You can also expect some temporary loss of feeling in your nipples and breast skin caused by the swelling but this will disappear as the swelling subsides over the next 6 weeks - in most cases, largely subsiding while you're still recovering on vacation here in Thailand!

You will be up and about in 1 to 2 days and you can return to work in around 7 days. Note that you're advised to avoid lifting anything over your head for 3 to 4 weeks after your breast lift surgery and should also refrain from sex for about 1 week. Basically, you really need to avoid strenuous activities for about 1 month after your Breast Lift surgery, but things will start to improve very quickly and your new breasts will start to look better before your recovery even ends!

There is some scarring, and it's important to keep this in mind. Breast lift surgery scarring varies by patient and by the type of surgical technique used. While small breast lifts will leave noticeable, permanent scars around your areola, a "normal" breast lift procedure will leave a scar around the areola, vertically down to the breast crease and along the breast crease. The scars will be easy to cover with your bra or bathing suit and though they may remain lumpy and red for some time, they'll gradually become less obvious and may eventually fade to thin white lines.

Your surgeon will tell you everything you need to know about post-surgery recovery and it is important that you follow his advice closely to ensure optimal healing. Our job at Destination Beauty is to make sure that you learn everything you need to know, so we'll be available in case you have any questions or concerns during the process.

Managing Expectations

After breast lift surgery, your breasts will be lifted and reshaped, and any excess or sagging skin will be removed. Breast surgery will improve the firmness of your breasts as well, and this should last for quite some time, but these positive effects are not entirely permanent and the aging process will still take its toll.

You can also have breast augmentation to further enhance your breasts. In combination with your breast lift, breasts implants can be inserted to increase both size and firmness.
